Do I need to pay any yearly subscription for the Woodmart theme?

No. The Woodmart Theme is a One Time Purchase item.

How long is the support help from the theme developer?

You get 6 months of support directly from the theme developer.

Can I renew and extend the support?

Yes. You can extend the support for another 6 months by paying support fee. You can login to the theme download area and extend support. You can continue to pay every 6 months for continuos support if you prefer.

Is the Regular License the same thing as an extended license?

In simple terms, the main difference is that under the Regular License, your end product (incorporating the item you've licensed) is distributed for free, whereas under the Extended License your end product may be sold. Of course, if it was all that simple, we'd have a one sentence license, so please do read the licenses and the rest of these FAQs for more details!

How to find my purchase code?

Log into your Envato Market account. Please check your email for Envato Themeforest log in details.
Hover the mouse over your username at the top of the screen.
Click "Downloads" from the drop-down menu.
Click "License certificate & purchase code" (available as PDF or text file).

How to Automatically update theme with purchase code?

An automatic theme update is the easiest and safest way to make an update. You do not need to do anything; WordPress will do the job for you.

In order to get the option for the automatic update, you need to activate your theme. Navigate to Dashboard -> WoodMart-> Theme License, insert the purchase code, and check the agreement for the storing of the purchase code and user data by xtemos.com

Can I update the theme manually?

Download the most recent WoodMart version from your ThemeForest account.
Go to Appearance -> Themes -> Add new
Click on the "Upload theme" button and then choose the theme installable zip file in the form.
Click on "Install now."
WordPress will show you information about your existing version. Click on the "Replace current with uploaded" button.
Go to Appearance -> Install plugins and update WoodMart core plugin.

I can't update the theme and get BAD_FORMAT error?

It usually happens when you transfer your website completely to a new domain and deactivate the license on the old domain. In this case, your new activation is no longer valid. To avoid this, you need to always deactivate the theme license before transferring your website.

To fix this problem and update the theme, you need to perform the following actions:

Go to Dashboard -> WoodMart -> Theme License and deactivate the theme.
Go to Dashboard -> Updates and click on the "Check Again" button.
Activate the theme with your purchase code again.
Try to update the theme via Appearance -> Themes or via Dashboard -> Updates.

What is the Automatic patcher in the Wordpress Woodmart Theme tab?

WoodMart automatic patcher is an instrument for the quick application of fixes between updates. It helps you keep your website updated and secure much easier. Once someone reports a critical issue in our theme we release a patch immediately before releasing the full update. The patch will contain only files that need to be updated, not the whole theme. When you update the theme to the next version all patches will be overridden since they are already included in the full update.

You find all new patches notifications in your WordPress Dashboard -> WoodMart -> Patcher. All patches are not required and you can apply only those patches that are required for your needs. Some bugs may not appear on your website so you can just ignore those patches.

Can I ask for a refund from the theme developer?

If you have purchased a theme and you are experiencing a technical issue with the item we recommend that you contact the author of that item and seek assistance. Often they'll be able to help to troubleshoot your problem.

How can I Ask for refunds from authors via the Envato platform?

We understand, however, that sometimes the author may not be able to solve your issue or there may be circumstances in which a refund is warranted. In this case, here are the circumstances in which we would expect an author to provide you with a refund:

Item is "not as described" or the item doesn't work the way it should.
Item has a security vulnerability
Item support is promised but not provided
Item support extension not used
Items that have not been downloaded for more than 3 months
Resolving disputes - asking Envato to help

How to Resolving disputes - asking Envato to help?

If you and an author can't come to an agreement about a refund, you can raise a dispute and have Envato investigate the matter. We may ask you to provide supporting documentation or evidence. Any refund issued by Envato is entirely discretionary. We will make a decision based on all available information and you agree that our decision is final.
